Warren County is a sportsman's paradise. Hunting and fishing are extremely popular and the region's forests, rivers and lakes are abound with wildlife. Outdoorsmen hunt for whitetail deer, wild turkey, dove, squirrel and other woodland creatures. A variety of waterfowl are also in plentiful supply. The 18 lakes and rivers in the area offer the angler bass, crappie, catfish and bream fishing. Water sports are an obvious favorite of enthusiasts and our facilities for boating and skiing are excellent.
The Vicksburg Country Club features an 18-hole classic style challenging golf course, a driving range, a practice chipping and putting green and a golf pro shop. Vicksburg Country Club is a private club with a full-service clubhouse, including a full-service restaurant. It offers a tennis facility, including a tennis pro shop, 4 rubico courts and 2 hard courts with a full-time teaching pro. Additional amenities include swimming, dining and various social events.
Clear Creek Golf Course, located in Bovina, is an 18-hole public golf course with more than 30,000 rounds played annually. It also includes a driving range, practice facilities and clubhouse with a golf shop. It includes a heated and cooled moderately equipped teaching facility that offers regular golfing classes. Two tennis courts and a pavilion are located at this site. Nearby there are numerous soccer, softball and baseball fields. A public lake is available and stocked by the Mississippi Game & Fish Commission.

The City of Vicksburg has recreational and playground facilities which are spread throughout the city's neighborhoods: 8 baseball fields, 3 adult softball fields, 3 youth softball fields, 10 tennis courts, 4 pavilions, 16 playgrounds, 1 walking track, 6 basketball courts, 1 picnic area, 1 fitness area and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

Vicksburg Soccer Organization (VSO) is for boys and girls age 4-18 to learn to play soccer, get physical and mental fitness and to have fun. Games are played at the Bovina Soccer Complex (located past Clear Creek Golf course on Tiffantown Road).
The Spring season registration is December and January. Spring play is from February to March. The Fall season registration is July and August. Fall play is from September to October.

The YMCA has several facilities throughout the city and county.
