Chamber Board Members Recognized

Now this is good news! Three out of four stories in a recent business section of the Vicksburg Post recognized members of the Chamber Board of Directors.

Three members of the Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce and/or their companies were recently recognized for excellence in their fields.

Vance Reynolds, CEO of River Region Medical Center, has received the Outstanding Achievement Award from Community Health Systems, a network of general acute-care hospitals that includes River Region and more than 120 others in 29 states.

May & Company, LLP, Certified Public Accountants, is runner-up in the Small Business category for the Best Places to Work in Mississippi Award. Additionally, H. Riley Nelson, a partner in the firm, was named one of the Journal's Top 40 Under 40. May & Company's Managing Partner is Chamber Board Member John Paris. 

Hennessey, Thames & Leavitt, a Vicksburg Insurance firm, has been awarded the Agency Excellence Award by The Leavitt Group, an organization of independent insurance agencies.  The agency is co-owned by Chamber Board Member Don Thames.
