Siege Robotics is a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition team in Vicksburg, Mississippi created in 2000 and has been participating in competitions ever since. The team is composed of students from Warren Central and St. Aloysius High Schools. Competitions have taken place in New Orleans, Orlando, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and Denver. The competition robots are constructed prior to meeting at the Engineering and Research Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg. The team strives to build a quality robot, provide hands on educational experiences for young people and promote science and engineering in the local community.
